Privacy at Bakersfield Hydrovac
What happens to the details you send us, in plain words. Last updated October 2026.
What the form collects
The quote form asks about the job and about you. Everything is optional except the job type, the job site, when you need a crew, your name and a way to reach you (an email address or a phone number).
- The job: the kind of work, what the dig is for, the job site, timing, rough scope and depth, site access, your 811 ticket status and number, whether it is a prevailing wage job, whether you need an insurance certificate, and any notes you write.
- You: your name, company, email address and phone number.
- Technical details sent with the form: the page you submitted from, the first page you landed on during that visit, and the site that sent you here. Your browser holds the last two in session storage until you close the tab. They are not cookies.
Please do not put anything in the notes you would not want a contractor to read, such as payment details or passwords.
Where it goes
When you send the form, your browser passes it to FormSubmit, a third-party form service that works as our processor. FormSubmit emails the request to us. We then pass it to independent local hydrovac operators so they can contact you and quote. Those operators receive what you wrote, including your contact details, and they use it to reply to you. Once an operator has your details they hold their own copy and are responsible for how they use it, so ask them directly about theirs.
We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.
WhatsApp and email
The WhatsApp button opens a chat with us in WhatsApp, and the email button opens a message in your own mail app. If you use either, what you write, and your phone number or email address, reach us through that service and are covered by its own privacy terms as well as this page. We use the details to answer you and, if you ask for quotes, to pass your request on as above.
Cookies, fonts and hosting
This site does not currently run analytics and does not set cookies of its own. If that changes, this page will say so first. The typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and like any web host it sees technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and the pages requested.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete the copy of your request that we hold, or to correct it. Use the email button below and tell us the job site and the name you used. We cannot delete copies that operators already received, so contact them if you want those removed.
Changes
If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and its date. See also the terms of use and how a request moves.
