Bakersfield Hydrovac passes quote requests to independent operators. That is all it does. Last updated October 2026.
A referral service
Bakersfield Hydrovac collects the details of a hydro excavation job and passes them to independent local hydrovac operators. We do not own equipment, employ crews or perform excavation, and we are not a contractor. By sending a request or using this site you accept these terms.
Operators are independent
Any operator who contacts you is an independent business. They quote you, contract with you and do the work on their own terms. They are responsible for their work, their licences, their insurance and their compliance with the law, including calling USA North 811 and holding a valid ticket before they dig. We are not a party to the agreement between you and an operator, and we are not responsible for it. Check an operator's licence and insurance yourself before you hire them, as described in how it works.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee that an operator will respond, that anyone will be available for your dates or site, how fast anyone will reply, or what a job will cost. A price or estimate that an operator gives you is that operator's quote. Nothing on this site is an offer to perform work, and a quote is not a promise until you and the operator agree on it.
General information only
The guides, FAQ answers and rules on this site are general information about hydro excavation in Kern County. They are not legal, engineering or safety advice, and laws, fees and permit rules change. For your job, rely on your own ticket, the agencies that govern the road or utility, your engineer and the operator.
The 811 planner is a planning aid. It counts Monday to Friday only and does not know about holidays or your particular ticket. USA North 811 and the ticket you are issued decide your dates.
Using the site
Please send true and complete information, and do not use the form to send spam or anything unlawful. We may stop passing on requests that look abusive. The text and design of this site belong to us, and the photos are credited on the image credits page under their own licences.
